Nail Wrap Instructions

STEP 1
PREPARING THE NAIL
Remove any existing nail polish from nails. Apply Cepticide antifungal and antiseptic spray by Soft Touch, to sanitize nails and hands (Cepticide is not a dehydrant). With the finer side of Soft Touch Washable Wrap File, file to remove oil from the nail plate. Never etch from side to side; this will cause excess thinning of nail plate

STEP 2
APPLYING CEPTI-SEAL
Apply Cepti-Seal by Soft Touch to the natural nails by sealing out moisture and natural oils that cause artificial nails to lift. Allow nail to dry to a chalky white.

STEP 3
APPLICATION OF TIP
Choose a Soft Touch Nail Tip from the assorted sizes provided. Make sure it fits securely from side to side at the stress point. File the sides of the tip for a custom fit. These tips are pre-trimmed and should be positioned no more than halfway up the natural nail bed (the proper placement when using nail wraps).

STEP 4
APPLYING THE TIP TO THE NATURAL NAIL
After applying a small bead of Soft Touch Professional Nail Glue to the "well" area of the nail tip, catch the free edge up against the well wall of the tip at a 45 degree angle. While applying pressure, rock the tip onto the natural nail to push out excess adhesive and air. This procedure will eliminate the air bubbles that develop between the natural nail and the nail tip.

STEP 5
TRIMMING THE TIP
First, clip the nail tip from side to center on each side. Next, shape the tip. It is always advisable to shape the tip to the cuticle shape for the most natural-looking nail. Remove the shine from the tip with the coarser side of the 2-Way Washable Wrap File.

STEP 6
BLENDING THE TIP
Next, blend the nail tip to the natural nail plate. Apply Blend-A-Tip to the seam line where the tip meets the natural nail. Wait 7 seconds. With the 120-grit side of the Washable Wrap File, file the nail in one direction from side to side. The excess tip will roll off, leaving the tip blended to the natural nail. A second application may be necessary for a smooth blend. Check for natural curve and even surface by viewing the nail from the side. Brush away dust and debris.

STEP 7
BASE COAT OF GEL
Apply a base coat of Nail Gel to seal out natural oil away from mesh. Apply a small bead of Gel to the center of the nail, then use the Brush-On Activator to stroke the gel evenly down the nail (as if you were applying polish), completely covering the natural nail and nail tip. Apply the Nail Gel as closely as possible to the cuticle area without touching it.

STEP 8
APPLYING THE WRAP
Cut wraps 1/16" away from the sides and free edge of the nail, and 1/8" away from the cuticle area. When applying the mesh, it is very important to use a patting motion to prevent fraying. Saturate the wrap with Soft Touch Nail Glue. Never use a file directly on the mesh. Hint: Glue normally sets in 3 to 5 seconds. If you wish to activate, feel free to do so.

STEP 9
APPLYING THE GEL
Apply a small bead of Soft Touch Nail Gel on the center of the nail. Then, using the Brush-On Activator brush, stroke the Gel evenly down the nail (as if applying polish) completely covering the wrap area. Apply the Gel as closely as possible to the cuticle area without touching it. (Use the "no-stick" Poly-Pro Cuticle Pusher to remove any excess Gel from the cuticle). Before returning brush to Activator bottle, wipe brush in a circular motion on Soft Touch Wipe Pads, and exchange it with the Blend-A-Tip/Brush Cleaner brush. Continue to exchange brushes every 2 to 3 nails, or when stickiness occurs. Blot excess cleaner before resuming contact with the Activator. A milky effect may result from the residue collecting the Activator solution. This will not harm the solutions' effectiveness.

STEP 10
REAPPLY THE GEL
(See Step 9)

STEP 11
FILING
When the Nail Wrap Gel dries, take the darker side of the Soft Touch Nail Wrap File to shape and file the edges and the lighter side to smooth and finish the surface. Make sure there are no bumps or valleys on the nail and take care not to break through the mesh. Then lightly buff the nail with the Soft Touch 3-Way Washable Buffer, using the black side, then the white and gray, for a high-gloss shine.

STEP 12
APPLYING JOJOBA OIL CUTICLE CONDITIONER
For the final touch, condition the cuticle with Soft Touch Jojoba Oil Cuticle Conditioner. Apply a small drop to the cuticle. Massage into the cuticle and nail bed area. NATURAL NAILS For natural nails (without wraps or tips) remove oil and shine from natural nail with the finer side of the Wrap File. Apply Cepti-Seal to natural nail and sanitize and dehydrate. Apply Nail Wrap Gel, brush on the Activator, buff lightly, add Jojoba Oil and, for extra shine, buff lightly again! You'll love the way it looks, and the Gel will add more protection and strength to the nail.
